Oh, Benedict. Ben. Benny. Cumbers. Where did you come from? You were just a Proper Actor doing serious things on stage, and playing admirable but basically non-sexy types like Professor Stephen Hawking and Vincent Van Gogh on TV.
And then: bam. Sherlock. Only you could make literally terrifying intellect and absolutely zero emotional warmth seem alluring. Suddenly, we noticed what had been right there all along. Specifically: you’re really hot.
Hollywood’s noticed too, now. But don’t forget us, Benedict. The women of Britain are waiting for you.
Face: Is it devastatingly gorgeous, or a bit wonky? Perhaps it’s BOTH. Body: A mystery. We would selflessly volunteer to investigate. Eyes: Pale. Mesmerising. Personality: Clever. Name: Worth lots of Scrabble points. Attainability: Yours for the taking.
(This is cute—from Elle UK.)

Through a window pane/ I look at you/ So near, so clear/ I see you/ But you/ Not me/ Separated as we are/ In the same world/ You are in my eyes/ But me/ Never in yours/ Never was/ And probably never will/
It is greatly gratifying but also immensely frustrating to be a fan of someone you grew so attached to and so in love with. This is what this photo spoke to me… It’s a sad “poem”, if I may call it that… Being a non-native speaker, I’m just trying my hand…
